Alberta L. Belcher (age 59)

Alberta L. Belcher, age 59, of 200 Cooks Trailer Park, Monroe twp., PA passed away at her home on Friday evening October 26, 2012.
Alberta was born on January 13, 1953 the daughter of the late Almon J. and Olive E. Dymond Harvey.
She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School class of 1971.
Alberta enjoyed playing cards and dice. She liked going to Atlantic City and Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes-Barre. She took great pleasure in baking and cooking for her family. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Alberta is survived by her husband, Lindbergh Z. Belcher, whom she married on May 7, 1985; her sons Kelly (Nadine) Harvey of Dalton, PA, and Rich Harvey (Teresa Blom) of Monroe twp.; her daughter Linda Belcher (David Salsman) of Monroe twp.; nine grandchildren; brothers James (Phyllis) Harvey of Brookville, PA, Albert (Allison) Harvey of Harvey's Lake, PA, Ralph Harvey of Meshoppen, PA, and Sam Harvey of Dallas, PA; sisters Fay Oaks of Meshoppen, Anna Wandell of Durhamville, NY, Charlotte Hunter of Stillwater, PA, BettyLou (Jack) Vaow of Meshoppen, Sharon Harvey of Tunkhannock, PA, Donna Shoemaker of Montrose, PA, and Judy Harvey of Tunkhannock; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Earl Harvey, Donnie Harvey, Harry Harvey and William Harvey and her sisters Joan Harvey, Connie Sherwood, and Shirley Hallock.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Meshoppen, PA with Rev. Gary Myers of the Meshoppen Biblical Baptist Church officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
