Amanda "Mandy" L. Winters, age 34, of New Albany, PA passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, December 17, 2021 at her home.

Mandy was born on May 5, 1987 in Towanda, PA the daughter of Sharyn Dippre Evans of Laceyville, PA and the late John E. Winters (d. March 15, 2021).  She was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School with the class of 2005.

She was currently employed with the Wyalusing Valley Personal Care Home as an Aide.  Previously she was employed with Arrow United as a Damper Mechanic and with EM1 Services as a Security Guard.

Mandy attended the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed tending to flowers and decorating for all of the holidays.  She loved to camp and traveled many times this summer with her children and special niece, Mia.  She adored her children and cherished the time she spent with them.

Mandy is survived by her children, Makenzie Shaffer, Storm Shaffer, and Autumn DeRemer; her mother, Sharyn Evans; her husband, James R. DeRemer; her siblings, Lynn Murray and John "Buck" Winters, II; her niece and nephew, Mia Winters and Brian Kingston; her paternal grandparents, Virginia and Joe Bell; her aunts and uncles, Tim Winters, Wanda Winters, Janine Martin, Dorothy and Al Gashler, Ruth and Steve Pititone, and Sandy Dippre; her mother-in-law, Deanna DeRemer; as well as many cousins.  Besides her father, Mandy was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Edward and Dorothy Dippre; her uncles Mitchell Winters and Ed Dippre; her aunt, Carol Drozdick; and her father-in-law, Ronald DeRemer.

A Funeral Service will be held for Mandy on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, PA with Reverend Dr. Barry Ballard of the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church officiating.  Interment will follow at the Wyalusing Borough Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 11:00 until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to John Winters II at 191 Winters Lane, New Albany, PA 18833 for the purchase of a cemetery monument.
