Ammon Daniel Yoder, age 79, of Rome, Pennsylvania passed away surrounded by his loving family June 14, 2019, at his son's home where he has been residing for his last years in Rome, PA.

Ammon was born on April 5, 1940, in Dover, DE the son of the late Dan A. and Malinda Miller Yoder.  He grew up in the Dover area and moved to the Amish settlement in the Rome, PA area in 1970

Ammon was a Self-Employed Carpenter and a Farmer in his younger years.

He was a member of Old Order Amish Church. He enjoyed to fish. He treasured his family very much.

Ammon married Ida Mae Miller on April 30, 1959.  Lived in Matrimony for 60 yrs.  To this union were born 7 sons and 5 daughters.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Mother, 1 son, 1 daughter, 3 grandchildren, and 3 sisters.

He leaves behind his wife, 10 children, 46 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. As well as many nephews, nieces, and friends who adore him.

A funeral service will be held at the Ammon's son, Melvin Yoder, residence on, Monday, June 17, 2019 at 9:00 AM with Ray Byler officiating.  Interment will follow at the Valley View Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Melvin Yoder's residence on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM.
