Angela Lynn Hunsinger, age 38, of Sugar Run, PA passed away Friday evening, July 4, 2025 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital after a courageous battle with brain tumors.

She was born on August 1, 1986 in Tunkhannock, PA the daughter of the Rose Dawes Hunsinger and the late Ronald Richard Hunsinger (d. February 3, 2018).  She was a graduate of Elk Lake High School with the class of 2004.  After high school Angela was involved with SERVE Inc. in Monroeton, PA for many years.

Angela thoroughly enjoyed being outside whether it would be swimming, camping, or watching fireworks.  She loved visiting her friends and family and she always looked forward to Friday night movie night with her nieces and nephews.

Angela is survived by her mother, Rose Hunsinger of Sugar Run, PA; her siblings, Rachel Vanderwel, Richard Hunsinger, Neil Hunsinger, Christopher Hunsinger (Laura), and Matthew Hunsinger (Samantha) who also help take care of Angela; her nieces and nephews, Penelope Vanderwel, Oliver Vanderwel, Vivica Rose Hunsinger, Marley Rayne Hunsinger, Raymond Scott Hunsinger; Avery Hunsinger; Aubree Sallsgiver; and Elaine Sallsgiver; her grandmother, Mary Ann Dawes; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Besides her father she was preceded in death by her brother, David Hunsinger.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital.
