Armand R. Ruest, Jr., age 45, of New Albany, PA passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2019 at the Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock, PA.

He was born on February 24, 1973 in Towanda, PA the son of Armand Ruest, Sr. of Palmyra, ME and Michele Fulmer-Armitage of Laceyville, PA.

He was a graduate of the Wyalusing Valley High School with the class of 1991.  Armand was employed with Proctor & Gamble as a technician for the last 12 years.

Armand loved his children more than words can say.  He thoroughly enjoyed taking them to concerts, amusement parks and especially to Maine to spend time with his father.  He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing.

Armand is survived by his children, Abigail Ruest, of New Albany, PA and Armand R. Ruest, III of Shohola, PA; his father, Armand Ruest, Sr., and his wife, Tina, of Palmyra, ME; his mother, Michele Fulmer-Armitage, of Laceyville, PA; his step-children, Kaylee Watkins and her fiancé, Macen Raupers, of Sayre, PA and Morgan Rando and her husband, Kevin, of Owego, NY; his step-granddaughter, Emma Lynn Rando, of Owego, NY; his sister, Jaime Hagadorn, and her husband, Robert, of Wyalusing, PA; his nephews, Dominic, Mason, and Connor Hagadorn; he had a special bond with his Aunt T; and treated Abbie Fisher like a daughter.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert and Germaine Gervais; his maternal grandparents, Glenn and Ethel "Sis" Fulmer; and two uncles.

Family and friends are invited to the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, PA for calling hours on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 3:00-6:00 PM.

The family will provide flowers and ask that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ruest Children Educational Fund, PS Bank, PO Box 217, Wyalusing, PA 18853.
