Audrey P. Roosa, age 80, of Tunkhannock, PA, passed away early Friday morning, November 17, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

Audrey was born on July 21, 1937 in Lawton, PA the daughter of the late Seth Overfield, who passed away on January 2, 2005 and Eliza Jenner Overfield, who passed away on January 14, 2005. She was a graduate of Rush High School. Audrey worked as a caregiver for Carpenter's Care Home in Tunkhannock, which is now known as the Gardens of Tunkhannock.

Audrey was a devoted and beloved wife to Dave Roosa and the couple was married on April 11, 1959. She attended the First Methodist Church in Tunkhannock. She loved to scrapbook and loved to take photos of just about everything. She liked to bake as well and it is said that she made the best chocolate chip cookies in town. Audrey loved dogs and her family, especially her grandchildren.

Besides her husband of 58 years, Audrey is survived by her sons Michael Roosa and his wife Shelli of Danville, PA and Gerald Roosa of Tunkhannock, PA; grandchildren David Roosa (fiancé Sam); Joshua Roosa (Rachael); Mikey Roosa (Nikki); Jeff Roosa (Keshia); Amanda Blackmon (Rondell); great-grandchildren, Brantley, Kaydience, Taylor, Madison, Blayne, Kaylee, Zariah, Junior, and Keymani. Also surviving is her sister Judy Boyanowski and her husband Steve; brothers-in-law Richard Roosa; Robert Roosa (Jan); and sisters-in-law Jean Vivona; Marilyn Sutliff; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Ellen Day, who passed away on November 24, 2015.

Services for Audrey will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
