Obituary
Betty C. Bell, age 80, of Auburn Center, PA passed away on Wednesday morning, March 16, 2016 at the Endless Mountains Health Systems in Montrose, PA.
Betty was born on September 7, 1935 the daughter of the late David Warren Kintner, who passed in 1958 and Marion E. Wandell Kintner, who passed in 2000. She was a graduate of the Meshoppen High School with the Class of 1955. Betty was the wife of the late William Bell who passed away on September 20, 1983.
Betty attended St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Montrose, PA. She loved working in her garden as well as working on crossword puzzles and other word games. She especially enjoyed relaxing, with her many cups of coffee over the years.
Betty is survived by her son Tim Bell of Auburn Center, PA; son Thomas Bell and his wife Sherri of Great Bend, PA; granddaughter Carletta Bell of Bradenton, FL; sister Jacqueline Warner of Wyalusing, PA; sister Dawn Posten and her husband Carl of Meshoppen, PA; sister Gail Bender and her husband Harold of Meshoppen, PA; sister Vivian Cappucci and her husband Jim of Mehoopany, PA; sister Janice Petchalonis and her husband Anthony of Tunkhannock, PA; sister-in-law Jane Kintner of Hallstead, PA; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son Donald Steven Bell (1961); brother David Kintner (1991); brother Philip Kintner (1997); brother Donald Kintner (1960); brother Rodney Kintner (2009); sister Joyce Bell (1999); nephew Randy Bell (2005); nephew Harold Bender Jr. (2001); nephew John William Bell Jr. (1958).
Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning, March 19, 2016 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Laceyville, PA. A private family interment will be held at Overfield Cemetery at a later date. As abiding with the wishes of Betty, there will be no funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for Mrs. Bell's final expenses to the Community Bank, 16632 SR 6, Meshoppen, PA 18630.
