Beverly Ann Heim, age 84, of New Albany, PA passed away on Tuesday evening, June 18, 2019 at the Highlands Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Laporte, PA.

She was born on October 7, 1934 the only daughter of the late Chester and Jennie Abrams Bennett. Beverly was a graduate of Wyalusing High School.

Beverly married Floyd R. Heim on October 10, 1953 and together they raised a son and a daughter. She was a devoted grandmother who always attended her grandchildren's school events.

She was employed for 30 years as a secretary for Ken Rice Pet Supply in Dallas, PA. She was an auditor on the Terry Township election board. When she and Floyd retired, they moved to the farm which they bought soon after they were married. In retirement, she enjoyed cooking family meals, canning, counted cross-stitch, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and spoiling her family. She was an avid reader who read all kinds of different books. She was a member of the Hollenback United Methodist Church and a member of their United Methodist Women.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 65 years, Floyd R. Heim at home; her children, Dennis R. Heim and his wife Aimee of Jamison, PA and Barbara A. Tessier and her husband Brant D. of New Albany, PA; her grandchildren, Ian Heim of Jamison, PA, Allison Speier and her husband David of Mosley, VA, Bailey Tessier of New Albany, PA and Bradley Tessier of New Albany, PA; her great-granddaughter, Aimee Speier of Mosley, VA; her siblings, Arthur Bennett (Joyce) of Endicott, NY, William Bennett of Nichols, NY, Clifford Bennett (Ida) of Athens, PA; and her sister/brother-in-laws, Cynthia Hunt of Washington, NJ, Jack Weston, Arlene Wertman, Verna Smith, and Mary Jane Heim-Huffman; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin and Kenneth Bennett, and her sister-in-laws, Elaine Bennett and Mae Mairose.

A Celebration of Life for Beverly will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Hollenback United Methodist Church with Reverend Heather Baker-McAllister of the church officiating.
