Beverly Jane Owen Sechrist (65)

Beverly Jane Owen Sechrist, age 65 of 939 Coburn Hill Rd, Laceyville (Silvara), PA passed away Sunday afternoon, October 21, 2012 at her home in Tuscarora twp., Bradford County.
Beverly was born in Sayre, PA on August 26, 1947 the daughter of the late A. Floyd and Nellie Dickinson Owen.
She was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School Class of 1965. Beverly worked at Donald Dean's in Montrose, PA and most recently worked for Chenango Industries in Chenango, NY as a computer specialist.
Beverly enjoyed auto racing especially traveling throughout the United States to places such as to the Charlotte, Michigan, Phoenix, and Pocono raceways to follow NASCAR with her husband, Gary. She also enjoyed the local races at the Shangri-La racetrack. Most importantly she loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gary Sechrist of Silvara, a sister Linda (Richard) Voda of Silvara, brothers Laverne (Connie) Owen of Rome, PA, James Owen of Canton, PA, Harry Owen of Tunkhannock, PA and Daryle "Woody" (Carol) Owen of Silvara, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday morning, October 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Laceyville, PA with Chaplin David Betts of Sacred Heart Hospice officiating. Interment will be at the Beaver Meadows Cemetery in Silvara. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.
