Beverly "Bev" Warfle, age 84, of Laceyville, PA, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 3, 2017 at Skilled Nursing Unit at Memorial Hospital in Towanda, PA.

Bev was born in Maryland, NY on November 1, 1932, the daughter of the late Floyd and Gertrude Collison Tice. She was married to Leo F. Warfle Sr. until his passing in October of 1972. In her spare time, Bev enjoyed crocheting, both vegetable and flower gardening, and solving jigsaw puzzles. While living in Laceyville, she enjoyed speaking with many of her friends around town.

Bev is survived by her sons Leo Warfle and his wife Edith of Jenningsville, PA; Raymond Warfle and his wife Marion of Mehoopany, PA; Walter Warfle and his wife Annmarie of Tunkhannock, PA; Harry Warfle of Kauga, IN; her daughters Beverly June Spencer and her husband Dennis of Towanda, PA; Joyce Ann Whipple and her husband Dana of Exeter, PA; Jennie Gregg and her husband Fred of Elk Lake, PA; and Patty Miller and her husband Paul of Laceyville, PA. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, her brother Clifford Tice of New Berlin, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Warfle will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Laceyville, PA with Reverend Doug Mills of the Lovelton Community Bible Church officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
