Brian "LB" G. Hunsinger, age 25, of Rush Township passed away on Sunday June 28, 2015 at Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Doolittle Hill that occurred Wednesday June 17, 2015.

Brian was born on June 5, 1990 in Tunkhannock, PA the son of Terry and Carol Swingle Hunsinger of Rush Township. He attended Elk Lake High School. Brian was self-employed as he worked for Hunsinger Stone.

Brian thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and always stayed busy. He was an avid golfer and he played in a golf league at Tall Pines Country Club in Friendsville, PA. He loved to hunt and fish as well especially his elk hunt that he won in Colorado and his whitetail hunt with his dad in Texas. He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Brian also played Little League Baseball with Rush Township as a boy. He was a person that enjoyed his time spent with his family.

Besides his parents Brian is survived by his siblings Glendon Hunsinger; Angela Hunsinger (Jeremiah Johnson); April Wuethrich (Kent); Crystal Conner (Mark); and Paul Newhart. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Madison, Zach, Joe, Allison, Luke, Mya, Jenna, Karisa, and Tiereny. Brian is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Joyce and Glenn Hunsinger as well as his maternal grandparents Donna and Fred Swingle.

Funeral services for Brian will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Laceyville, PA with the Reverend Vicki Ellis of the Beaver Meadows United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Beaver Meadows Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
