Obituary

Carol Andras, age 76, of Laceyville, PA passed away at her home on Thursday morning, April 4, 2024.

Born in Cherry Point, NC on February 23, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Eileen Smailes Kucharski, Sr.

After receiving her GED, Carol found employment as a Seamstress for the Meshoppen and Black Walnut Dress Factories, as well as working as a cashier at Honchell's Market in Wyalusing before finding work in the food service industry as a waitress and cook.  Over the years she was employed at various establishments including, Schiavone's Rest in Dalton, Seville's Diner in Boyertown, Perkins in Tunkhannock, and the Riverstone in Towanda.

Carol was a past member of the Evergreen Christian Church and an auxiliary member of the Rought Hall American Legion Post 510 in Black Walnut.  She loved cooking for her family, making ceramic items, tending to her garden, and canning.  Carol also enjoyed hunting and fishing, working on puzzles, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Duke and Maggie.

Surviving Carol is her husband, George Andras, Jr of Laceyville, PA; her children, Bonnie Robinson (Joseph) of Montrose, PA, Sherri Ann Fenton (Todd) of Homet's Ferry, PA, Darrell Robert Andras of Lovelton, PA, Mark Andras, Jeffrey Andras, and Timothy Andras; her grandchildren, Adam Robinson (Angela) of Chesapeake, VA, Travis Robinson of Chesapeake, VA, and Lakota Soul Sanders of Berkley, WV; her great-grandchildren, Lexi Jo Robinson, Paige McKenzie Robinson, Peyton Elizabeth Robinson, Isabella Lee Robinson, Zachary Bandy, Jordan, Jaysean, Taysean, and Christopher.  She is also survived by her siblings, Nancy Jane Kucharski Hine of Shillington, PA and Susan Eileen Ritter (Eugene) of Smyrna, DE; her brother-in-law, Roger Andras (Lois) of Danville, PA; her special friend, Tammy Gowin of Laceyville, PA; and her grand-fur baby, Sammie.

Along with her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her brother, John Kucharski, Jr.; her granddaughter-in-law, Lisa Bandy Robinson; and her niece, Tami J. Kucharski.

A private service for Carol will be held on a later date at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter of the donor's choosing.
