Mrs. Catherine Gacha, age 74, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2021, at home in Meshoppen, PA. She was born on August 8, 1946 in Manhattan, Kansas. She attended Luckey High School. She married Gerald Gacha on January 23, 1964 in Manhattan. She worked in management for many years for Pen Mart.

Cathy loved working in her flower beds and gardening. She enjoyed canning and freezing the vegetables from her garden. She enjoyed cooking holiday dinners for her family and was known for her homemade gravy and stuffing muffins. She also loved horses.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wagner, mother, Mary Wagner, and son-in-law Jeremy Mowry.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gerald Gacha, Meshoppen, PA; son, Timothy Gacha (Betsy), Meshoppen, PA; daughters, Jeri Powell (Steven), Newport News, VA, Cristie Gacha (Eddie), Meshoppen, PA, Tina Kukucka (Tim), Tunkhannock, PA, Bobbie Dalton, Meshoppen, PA, Amy Mowry, Meshoppen, PA; sister, Ruth Ann Hehn (Robert), Salem, WI; brother, Robert Wagner, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her nature, funeral services are private and for immediate family only. The family will hold a celebration of life at a future date.
