He was considered one of the leading “Point of Purchase” designers on the East Coast, having won many POPAI awards for his designs and displays, and having several patents issued in his name. He loved his work, the people, and the sense of accomplishment he had over all those years.
He was an active member for many years in the East Brunswick High School Wrestling Club, the Stevensville Community Club, and the NRA.
Soft spoken, quiet, intelligent, and kind, Charlie could build, fix, or solve almost anything. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and living full-time with his wife in their Stevensville home following his retirement. Family was most important to him, and he was proud of the knowledge he was able to pass on to his grandsons. He also hosted many fun-filled family camping reunions and visits from friends.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of his Life will be held sometime in the Spring. He will be greatly missed and always in our hearts.
