Charles O. "Mickey" McMicken, age 71, of 170 Papoose Acres Lane, Laceyville, PA, went to be with the Lord, on Monday evening, April 10, 2023 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA surrounded by his loved ones.

Mickey was born in Meshoppen, PA, on October 24, 1951, the son on the late Charles McMicken (d. March 10,1977) and Verna Clapper McMicken Davis (d. February 9, 2010). Living and growing up in South Auburn, PA, Mickey was a graduate of the Elk Lake High School.

Mickey served his country, serving in the US Army for 8 years. After his service to his country, he was employed as a truck driver, driving for many companies throughout the years. Mickey along with his wife, Pat, enjoyed buying, fixing, and flipping homes.

In his spare-time he enjoyed fishing, and singing with his friends, The Neighborhood Boys. He loved to around his many critters, especially Zeus and Sadie.

Mickey leaves his wife the former Leona "Pat" Belcher Saxer-McMicken, of Laceyville, PA, his brother, Neale (Patty) McMicken, two step-sons, Robert "Ruggy" (Tabitha) Fletcher, and Chuck Fletcher, and his step-grandchildren, Eric Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher, DeSirae Fletcher, Brooke Fletcher, Levana Fassett and Talon Fassett. He is also survived by four sons, Mick (Katie) McMicken, Tracey (Ashley) McMicken, Stacey (Patti) McMicken, and Jared (Heather) McMicken, as well as many more grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Janet Thompson (d. May 25, 2003). He is going to be missed very much.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of his family.
