Christina "Tina" L. Fletcher Shoemaker, age 91

Christina "Tina" L. Fletcher Shoemaker, age 91, of 970E Avery Station Rd, Factoryville, PA (East Lemon) and formally of Laceyville, PA passed away Sunday morning, November 11, 2012 at the Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock, PA.
Tina was born on January 3, 1921 the daughter of the late William and Lucy Hodges Fletcher in Jessup, PA.
She worked as a seamstress at the Coat and Dress Factory in Black Walnut, PA and at Mindy Sue's in Laceyville. She also worked for Francis Lockburner at the Laceyville Discount Store.
Tina was a member of the Spring Hill United Methodist Church. As well as a member of the Rought Hall Post #510 American Legion Women's Auxiliary in Black Walnut and the Senior Citizens Center in Tunkhannock, PA. She absolutely loved to play Bingo. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her daughters Linda (Jerry) Parkhurst of Meshoppen, PA and Jeannie Button of East Lemon; her grandchildren Beth (Stacy) Hallock, James (Allison) Bennett, Willie (Shenen) Bennett, Brian (Michelle) Bennett, Matt (Lori) Rozelle, and Mark (Steph) Rozelle; great grandchildren Katherine Olszewski, Brandon and Jordon Bennett, and Tristan and Luke Rozelle; step grandchildren Billy Button, Celia Sands, Carl Button, III, Dorothy Casselbury, Bradley Button, Lisa Gawlas, Jerry Parkhurst, Jr., Carole Burgess, Sharon Davis, Hope Smith, and Ruthie Hongach; and several step great grandchildren. As well as a sister Mary Tummillo of Garfield, NJ; a sister in law Rose Fletcher of Binghamton, NY; a brother in law Donald Adams of Auburn Center, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond H. Shoemaker; her sons Raymond (Bill) Shoemaker and James Shoemaker; a son in law Pete Button, Jr., sisters Dorathy Norton and Margaret Adams; and brothers William Fletcher and Donald Fletcher.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St. Meshoppen, PA with a long time family friend, Rev. Darrell Sands, officiating. Interment will be at the Lacey St. Cemetery, Laceyville, PA. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 1:00 until the time of the funeral service.
