Christine Jenny Salsman Brown, age 60, of Laceyville, PA passed away Sunday morning, April 20, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital in Towanda, PA.

Christine was born on October 30, 1953 the daughter of Harold C. and Janette Long Salsman of Laceyville, PA.

She attended Wyalusing High School. She was employed as a team leader at Cargill (formerly Taylor Packing) in Wyalusing, PA.

Christine enjoyed being outdoors including gardening in her flower bed and mowing the lawn. She loved her dogs and cats. Most of all she adored Austin Michael Button, the boy that she raised since his birth.

Besides her parents and Austin, Christine is survived by her brothers Steve Salsman (Barb Cook) of Laceyville, PA Dean Salsman (Karla), of Laceyville, PA Michael Salsman (Paula) of Sugar Run, PA, and Tim Salsman (Michelle) of Wyalusing, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Brown on March 28, 2006.

Family and friends may call at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Laceyville, PA on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A private family service will be later at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Bradford County Memorial Park.
