1. Edna Anderson, age 98, of Laceyville, PA passed away on Thursday afternoon, June 25, 2020 at the Tyler Memorial Hospital.

Edna was born on October 9, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of the late Charles H. and Dorothy "Dolly" Pratt Coates.

She married Harold W. Anderson on November 21, 1942 in Weehawken, NJ.  They were married for 67 years before his passing on December 9, 2009.  Edna was employed as an Executive Secretary for many years in New Jersey.

She enjoyed reading.  She also loved to travel.  Her favorite trip was when her and her husband traveled to Europe for their 25 ^th wedding anniversary.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Thora Pihl (Jerry Mikus) of Laceyville, PA; her granddaughters, Kimberley Levine (Jeffrey) of Parsippany, NJ and Kirstin Pihl of Daytona Beach, FL; and her great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jordana Levine or Parsippany, NJ.

A Memorial Service for Edna will be held on Saturday July 25, 2020 at 4:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 459 Main St., Laceyville, PA with Pastor Kim Bode of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. Because of the ongoing pandemic, everyone attending is asked to please wear a face mask, and abide with the social distancing regulations.
