Dale Steven Armitage, age 74, of Wyalusing, PA, passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2026, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

He was born on February 25, 1952, in Sayre, PA. He was the son of the late Walter L Armitage and Hope Merritt Armitage.

He was employed by Masonite / Craftmasters for 32 years. Throughout his life Dale enjoyed spending time with his family.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, of 54 years Laura Steele Armitage of Wyalusing, PA; his daughter Laurie “Pooper” Mosier (Ken Lamphere) of Monroeton, PA; his son, Steven Dale Armitage (Merrissa Budner) of Wyalusing, PA; his brothers, Gary Armitage (Barb Pierce) of Wysox, PA; and Leroy Armitage (Barb Putnam) of Wyalusing, PA; his grandsons Alan Jackson Mosier of Wilkes-Barre, PA; and Bryce Armitage of Tennessee; his granddaughters, Lauren Walter of Sugar Run, PA; and Leigha Armitage of Wyalusing, PA; his great-grandson, LJ Walter; and his great-granddaughter, Julia Walter. Along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard “Dickie” Armitage; and Walter “Butch” Armitage; and his beloved doggy companion Ruby.

Interment will take place at the Camptown Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
