Daniel "Bubba" Keith Walters, age 57, of Laceyville, PA passed away on his birthday, Sunday, November 19, 2023 unexpectedly at his home.

Bubba was born on November 19, 1966 in Towanda, PA the son of the late Daniel R. (d. July 13, 2013) and Lynette June Kipp Walters (d. August 31, 2022).  He was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School with the class of 1984.

He was currently employed with P&G in the Stock Prep Department.  Previously he was employed with XLC and Penn's Best.

Bubba thoroughly enjoyed fishing, hunting and shooting guns.  He enjoyed football, especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and singing karaoke.  He was well known for joking around, making people laugh and his wardrobed collection of Hawaiian shirts.  He loved to spend time with his family, particularly following his nieces and nephews with their activities.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Dougherty Walters, whom he married on August 17, 2013; his siblings, Tish Saxon of Meshoppen, PA, Mike Walters and his spouse Danielle of Laceyville, PA; his father-in-law, Jim Dougherty of New Jersey; his sisters-in-law, Bridget Limone and her spouse Joe and Angela Dougherty all of New Jersey; his nieces and nephews, Trevor Saxon of Meshoppen, PA, Jenifer Walters of Olyphant, PA, Cheyenne Anaya, Hayley Anaya, Zach Walters all of Laceyville, PA, Jeremy and Tyler Limone both of New Jersey; as well as his life-long best friend, Les Honeywell of Sugar Run, PA.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Patricia Dougherty (d. November 22, 2008).

A Celebration of Life will be held for Bubba on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM from the Spring Hill Community Hall.  All are encouraged to wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt.
