Obituary

Mr. Daniel M. Radgoski, age 79 of Jenny Lane Laceyville, PA, formally of Meshoppen, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Windham twp., Wyoming Co., PA. on Wednesday morning, August 31, 2022.

Daniel was born in Plymouth, PA, on January 3, 1943, the son of the late John and Rose Wojnarski Radgoski. Growing up in the Plymouth area, he was a graduate of the Bishop Hoban High School in Plymouth. After high school, he served his country with the US Army, serving in Germany, during the early 1960's.

Dan was married to the former Marie E. Podsadlik, for 32 years, before her passing on December 19, 1997.

For over 30 years, Dan was employed by P&G Paper Products, in Mehoopany, PA, where he worked as a paper maker, retiring in 1997.

For many years he was a member of the St. Joachim's Roman Catholic Church, in Meshoppen, PA, and was a lang time member of the Rought Hall Post #510 American Legion. In his spare time dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family and many friends. For many years, Dan enjoyed fishing and many times he got to spend at his camp on Lake Oneida, in New York.

Surviving are his sons, Richard and his wife, Yvonne Radgoski of Covington twp., PA; and Robert Radgoski of Laceyville, PA. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Ryan Radgoski; Colin Radgoski; Avery Garrison; and Addison Garrison, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Besides his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Daniele Radgoski, d.1998, and his sister, Ruth Ann Strzepek d. 2013.

A Military Graveside Service will be held at the St. Joachim's Cemetery in Meshoppen, PA, on Friday morning, September 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM, conducted by the members of the Rought Hall Post# 510 American Legion of Black Walnut, PA, and the Dennis Strong Post # 457 American Legion of Tunkhannock, PA. Arrangements were made through the Sheldon Funeral Home, 8206 Main St., Meshoppen, PA.
