David G. Inman (52) Obit

David G. Inman, a veteran of the US Army, passed away March 4, 2013 at the age of 52 at the VA Hospital in Martinsburg, WV.
He was the oldest son of Eugene and the late Joan Inman (May 14, 2011) of Meshoppen, PA. He was born on March 15, 1960 in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
David served in the US Army after high school. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors. He was also involved in Boy Scouts with his son in his younger years.
In addition to his father he is survived by his loving son Glen Inman, brothers John Inman and his wife Maria and Charles Inman, sisters Jean Brent and her husband James, Joanne Prebula and her husband Brad, and Diane Hall and her husband Robert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Meshoppen, PA with Rev. Gary Myers of the Meshoppen Biblical Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Overfield Cemetery in Meshoppen, PA. A military service will be performed immediately preceding the memorial service by the members of the Rought Hall Post #510 in Black Walnut, PA, the Dennis Strong Post # 457 in Tunkhannock, and the Endless Mountains Post # 3583 VFW in Mehoopany, PA. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 10:00 until the time of the services.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to make memorial contributions may do so in David's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
