David Randy Robinson, age 69, of Golden Hill, PA, passed away at his home, on Thursday afternoon, April 6, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Randy, as he was known, was born in Meshoppen, PA, on November 19,1953, the son of the late Albert and Reatha Robinson. Growing up in the family home, in Brooklyn, PA, he would later move to Golden Hill, where he lived with his grandparents Howard and Vera Salsman.

On May 1, 1971, he married the former Sally Ann Finch, of New Albany, PA. Randy and Sally would have celebrated their 52nd. anniversary in the next couple of weeks.

Over the years, he was employed at many businesses, including, Hitts Pallets, of Tunkhannock, PA, Taylor Packing, in Wyalusing, PA, McClain's Stone in Tunkhannock, PA, and working construction with his Uncle, Dick Salsman, of Meshoppen, PA.

In his spare time, Randy loved working on cars and buying and fixing older cars. He cherished his 1951 Plymouth and his 1964 Barracuda. Randy was an avid participant in many Demolition Derby's with is son and nephews. He also loved deer hunting, in his younger years, and enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada, and Salmon fishing in New York, with his Uncle Dick, and their families, and friends. More than anything, he loved the time that he got to spend with his dearly loved wife, his son and daughter in law, and his two grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife Sally Ann Robinson of Golden Hill, PA, his son and daughter in law, David "Georgie" and Rebecca Robinson, of Laceyville, PA, and his two grandchildren, Destiny Marie Robinson, and David Earl Robinson, both of Laceyville, PA. He is also survived by two brothers, Rex (Janet) Robinson, and Michael (Maria) Robinson, and a special uncle and aunt, Dick and Darlene Salsman, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Besides his parents and grandparents, he was preceded in death by his brother Timothy Robinson, and two sisters, Crystal Anderson and Debbie Fenton.

A Celebration of Life for David and his mother, Reatha Robinson will be held on Sunday, May 21 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at the Spring Hill Community Hall, 4225 Spring Hill Rd, Wyalusing, PA 18853. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM with Reverend Charles Bishop of the Transue Community Church officiating.
