David F. Ross, Jr., age 84, of 2567 Golden Hill Rd., Laceyville, PA, passed away on Saturday evening, March 22, 2014 at the Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA in Scranton, PA.

David was born in Coatesville, PA on January 23, 1930, the son of the late David and Anna Fox McDonald Ross, Sr.

He worked for many years in the West Chester area, most notably in the maintenance department for West Chester University.  After he moved to Laceyville, PA he worked at the J-Long Vu Farm with the Milliron Family on Golden Hill.  In his spare time, David enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and taking care of his cats.

David is survived by his brother, John Ross (Bonnie Shippee) of Springhill, FL;  nephew Johnny Ross of Plant City, FL; special friends Alice Brinton of Tunkhannock, PA, Sherry & Carl Dulaney, Carl Dulaney III, Clayton Dulaney, Cole Dulaney and families all of Towanda, PA; Thomas & Kimberly Brinton and their children Chelsea, Thomas Jr., & Tori-Lynn of Forkston, PA; Timothy Brinton of West Chester, PA, Keith Brinton of Pottstown, PA, Amanda Brinton of West Chester, PA, Colin Brinton of West Chester, PA; Ralph & Gloria Million, Jr., of Golden Hill, PA, Melissa & Mark Manning of Lake Carey, PA, Karl Milliron of Golden Hill, PA, Aaron Milliron of Tunkhannock, PA, Conrad & Jen Milliron of DuBois, PA, Eric Milliron of Tunkhannock, PA, Sabrina Milliron of Moosic, PA, Tom & Mindy Milliron of Rome, PA, James Milliron & Kelly Davis Pascoe of Golden Hill, PA, Jason Milliron of Tunkhannock, PA, Josh Milliron of Elizabethtown, PA, and Jesse & Mindy Milliron of Liberty Corners, PA.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a very special friend Mary Milliron on March 15, 2014.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Lacey St. Cemetery in Laceyville, PA.  There will be a tree planting ceremony following the graveside service to honor David as well as Ralph and Mary Milliron, Sr. at Mary Milliron's Home, 2567 Golden Hill Rd, Laceyville, PA.
