Deborah Marjorie Taylor Grover, 70, of Laceyville, PA died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the Tyler Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1951 in Rome, PA and was the daughter of the late Harold and Marion Taylor and was one of four children. She was a graduate of the Northeast Bradford High School and Fredonia College, NY.
Deborah married Dale Grover on June 14, 1975, and eventually became the proud parents of two children, Amy and Timothy. Dale predeceased her on Aug. 24, 2020.
She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid animal lover who frequently rescued kittens and cats and thoroughly enjoyed raising her pet deer, Taylor. She took pride in her home decorating. Debbie was a free spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest and it is a trait that she passed along to her children.
Surviving are her daughter, Amy Grover Spunar of Olyphant, PA; her son, Timothy and his wife, Nikki and daughters, Madelynn and Natalie of Auburn Twp., PA; brothers, Philip Taylor of Zenia, OH and Jeff Taylor of Little Meadows, PA; sister, Diane Cecil of High Point, NC; sisters-in-law, Donna (Terry) Nesmith of Childs, PA and Phyllis Smith of Hanover, PA; her brother-in-law, Clyde Trible of West Auburn, PA; nephews, Todd Cecil of NC, Brian Trible of Irish Hill, PA, Alan (Laurie) Trible of Auburn Center, PA, Rudolph (Russell) Mattes of Philadelphia, PA, Jeff Mattes of Newark Valley, NY and Shawn (Marzena) Smith of Hanover, PA; nieces, Whitney Taylor of San Francisco, CA, Stacey Cecil of NC, Nancy (David) Keeler of Wyalusing, PA and Kandi Smith of Hanover, PA.
Beside her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, Harold Taylor (Jan. 22, 2012) and Marion (Jackson) Taylor (July 29, 2018); in-laws, Elgie Grover (July 15, 1981) and Florence Decker Grover (Aug. 4, 1993); a sister-in-law, Ellen Marie Trible (Dec. 18, 2017) and a brother-in-law, Sherle Smith (Dec. 10, 2001).
A private Graveside Service will be held at the Beaver Meadows Cemetery on a later date at the convenience of the family.
