Delores D. Kostantewicz, age 75, of Meshoppen, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at The Gardens of Tunkhannock.

Delores was born on January 31, 1943 in Tunkhannock, PA, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Yurksza Ball. She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School with the Class of 1961. On April 27, 1963, she married Joseph J. "Tyke" Kostantewicz and the couple was married for 53 years until his passing on August 17, 2016. Together they had two children Jerome and Lisa. During her kids' childhood Delores was a very helpful hand with her kids' sporting events and teams. Delores helped coach and was the team mom for Lisa's softball team. Delores continued her dedication with her grandchildren and was very supportive of all their sporting events. Delores also liked to grow vegetables in her garden. But most of all Delores was a family woman, and loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren.

Delores is survived by her children Jerome Kostantewicz and his wife Jana of Center Valley, PA; Lisa Worth of Williamsport, PA; grandchildren Christopher Kostantewicz, Zachary Kostantewicz, Joey Worth, Matthew Worth, and Noah Worth. Delores is also survived by her sisters Freda Tokach; Shirley Sichelstiel; and Nancy (Jim) Fitch as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Delores was preceded in death by her siblings, Lillian Ball; Grace Ball; Julia Faux; Eleanor Coy; Joseph Ball; and Arthur Ball.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Joachim's Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Tran officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joachim's Cemetery in Meshoppen, PA. Family and friends may call on Friday evening, December 21, 2018 at Sheldon Funeral Home, 8206 SR 6, Meshoppen, PA from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
