Dennis Andrew "Andy" Maloney, age 19, of 402 2nd St., Towanda, PA. passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 12,2012, in Wyalusing, PA.
Andy was born in Towanda, PA. on July 21,1992, the son of Joseph E. Maloney of Towanda, PA., and Nichole I. Eddy Pivaral, and Saul Pivaral, of Wyalusing, PA.
Growing up and spending most of his life in the Wyalusing area, Andy attended the Wyalusing Valley High School. For the last few months, Andy was employed as a laborer, with the Washita Valley Gas Co. While in school; Andy was a member of the football team. His favorite things in life were Notre Dame football, going to his favorite place 'The Cabin" and playing his guitar with his special uncle and best friend, B.J. Eddy of Towanda, PA. Andy also enjoyed many sports and hunting with his family. His favorite activity was to spend time with his many friends and family, especially with his sister Mallory.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his infant son, Jayden Michael-Andrew Maloney, of Durrell, PA., his sister, Mallory Catherine Maloney, of Wyalusing, PA., and brothers, Mitchell and Braden Felter, of Wyalusing, PA. and Ryan Keegan, of Sayre, PA. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Judy Eddy, of Towanda, PA., and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Maloney, of Pittston, PA. His step-father Wayne Felter II of Wyalusing, PA.; special grandfather, Poppy Wayne Felter Sr. of Wyalusing, PA.; his girlfriend Jordan Preston of Wyalusing, PA.; special friend Micah Wilcox, of Durrell, PA.; best friend and cousin Jack Tyler Williams of Lowman, NY and close friends Jackie and Shawn Adams, Siana Adams, and Baby Shawn Adams, all of Wyalusing, PA. He is also survived by many other very close friends, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Andy was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John "Jack" Maloney who passed away on Dec. 21,1981, his grandmother, Sally Brown, and an Uncle Randy Eddy.
Funeral services will be held at the New Generation Church, 82 Freedom Lane, Milan, PA. on Wednesday, Jan. 18,2012 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Doug Abby of the church officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family, at a later date.
The family will be furnishing their own flowers, and wish to have those wanting to make memorial donations to the Jayden Michael-Andrew Maloney Fund (Andy' s infant son), C/O Peoples State Bank, SR6, Wyalusing, PA. 18853.
