Dennis L. Frost died peacefully on July 8, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Dennis was born on September 22, 1945 in Dexter, Maine. He was the son of the late Leslie George Frost and Madeline (Page) Frost of Dexter. He played football and wrestled for the Dexter High School Tigers.

Dennis met the love of his life, Cathie LaBarge and they began their married life together on November 13, 1965. After receiving his degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute in Boston, he and Cathie moved from Maine to Delaware in 1968 when he began working at the Dupont Company in Wilmington as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist. Dennis had a successful career designing and developing mechanical process equipment, he enjoyed his work, especially his fellow workers. He retired from the Dupont Company in 2005.

Dennis built homes in Wyalusing, PA and in Dexter, ME with the help of his family. He had many talents as a craftsman and was always willing to lend a hand with a job to be done or a problem to be solved. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and boating, and most of all Dennis loved his family, working on projects with his children and grandchildren, and having them surrounding him to share a meal. He was filled with anticipation of his first great granddaughter in July.

Dennis is predeceased by his parents, sisters; Pauline Wilbur, Charlene Gray, Audrey Pomroy and Maxine Wilbur. Dennis is survived by his sister, Constance Seavey, his loving wife Cathie, his 3 children: Eric Frost, wife Meg and children Rebecca Birchler (Brian Birchler) and Matthew; Leslie Frost Lupin husband Frank Jr, children Monica, Laura and Dennis; and David Frost, wife Heather and children Susan and Amy.

A Mass will be celebrated for Dennis Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church, 245 State St., Wyalusing, PA 18853. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. There will be a graveside Christian Burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter, ME July 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
