Obituary

With heavy hearts we share the passing of Dolores "Dee" Arbosheski, 91, of South Montrose, on October 18, 2017 at the Guthrie Troy Community Hospital.

Born June 9, 1926 in Dickson City, PA to the late Peter Paul and Josephine Wietrzykowski Arbosheski. She spent the past year at the Bradford County Manor keeping the staff on their toes.

After graduating from Montrose High School, she worked at the Montrose Hanger Factory and then Proctor and Gamble in Mehoopany. You could catch her at the bowling alley several days a week perfecting her game. Her love for bowling allowed her the opportunity to travel extensively across the United States. When she wasn't bowling you could find her blotting cards hoping for a B-I-N-G-O or wrangling the one armed bandit for her next jackpot. She was a voracious reader, skilled at crossword puzzles and a keen card game player. She adored spending time with her family and friends. She was a long time member of the Holy Name of Mary Church. She will always be remembered for her jovial spirit.

She will be dearly missed by her sister, Lillian Ainey, Tunkhannock; nieces, Debra (Edward) Bell, Laceyville; Kelly Ann Ford, Santa Monica, CA; nephews, Gary (Helena) Arbosheski, Montrose; Richard (Betty) Ainey, Montrose; several great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Peter Paul Arbosheski, Jr. and his wife, Betty Greenwood Arbosheski, and a brother-in-law, Albert "Doc" Ainey.

A memorial service will be held on October 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Mary Church, Montrose with Reverend Philip Rayappan of the church officiating. Please no flowers. Memorial donations may be made in her name to The Alzheimer's Association – Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 57 N Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.

Arrangements were entrusted with Sheldon Funeral Homes, 8206 SR 6, Meshoppen, PA.
