Douglas John Carey, age 34, of Jenningsville, passed away unexpectedly in Silvara, PA on Monday, July 5, 2021.

He was born on March 18, 1987 at Tyler Hospital in Tunkhannock, PA, the son of the late John Robert Carey (d. December 30, 2003) and Judy Jayne Miller.  After growing up and attending school in the Wyalusing area, he was employed with Cron's farm in South Auburn and R.G. Brown's Refuse Removal in Laceyville.

Douglas is survived by his daughters, Sky Ann-Marie Carey of West Auburn, PA, and Destiny Carey of Laceyville, PA; mother, Judy Miller and step-father, Don Miller of Wysox, PA; brothers, Brad Carey (fiancé, Ashley Giberson) of Wysox, PA, Brandon Carey of Wysox, PA, Jesse Carey (Amanda) of Ridgebury, PA, and Andy Owen of Towanda, PA; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours for Douglas will be held at the Sheldon Funeral Home, 459 Main St., Laceyville, PA  18623, on Wednesday, July 14 from 2:00-4:00 PM.
