On March 16, 2015 the Lord called Eleanor Ruth Robinson, age 86, of Wyalusing, PA (Moxie) home to continue her walk with Him.

Eleanor was born in Camptown, PA on January 2, 1929 the daughter of the late Cornelius and Lelia Kissell Kithcart.

She was a member of the Evergreen Christian Church since 1954, was a member of the Ladies Missionary Circle, and had helped with the Awana program. She had also worked with Children groups at the Terrytown Church.

She graduated from Camptown High School in 1946 and Mansfield University in 1950. Eleanor taught Language Arts at the Wyalusing Jr./Sr. High School for 26 years retiring in 1992. She was a member of PASR, National and State Republican Committees and was extremely interested in politics.

Her favorite pastimes besides her family were gardening and reading. The Bible was her favorite book and she enjoyed reading other Christian literature and historical novels. She loved trees, flowers, and all outdoors. She could often be found working in her yard.

She will be remembered as a dedicated teacher and for her love for her Lord and Savior. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Gene, in October 2005, whom she married on October 17, 1950, grandson Lucas Robinson in February 2005 and infant granddaughter Kelly Robinson. Her parents predeceased her as did her sister Elizabeth Kithcart in 1976, brother Howard Kithcart in 1945, and brother Carl Kithcart in 1988.

She is survived by her daughter Sally Kile (Charles) of Moxie, PA; sons James Robinson (Onalee) of Auburn Center, PA, Jack Robinson (Jane) of Stevensville, PA, Joseph Robinson (Bonnie) of Spring Hill, PA, Jerry Robinson (Karen) of Monroeton, PA, Jon Robinson (Stephanie) of Moxie, PA and Dean Robinson of Moxie, PA; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Raymond Kithcart (Joan) of Rochester, NY; sisters Cora Sutton of Camptown, PA, Charlotte Sinsabaugh (Jay) of Waverly, NY, Genevieve Jennings of Towanda, PA, and Blanche McGuire of Waverly, NY; brother-in-law Duane Robinson (Donna) of New Albany, PA; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 12:00 noon from the Evergreen Christian Church with Reverend Michael Dodd of the church officiating. Interment will be on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Wyalusing Borough Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given in Eleanor's name to the Evergreen Christian Church, 103 North St., New Albany, PA 18833.
