Obit for Elsie Mae Parsons

Elsie Mae Parsons, age 81, of Ambrosius Rd., New Albany, PA., passed away unexpectedly, at her home in Wilmot, Bradford Co., PA. on Monday afternoon, Jan. 28, 2013.
She was born in Towanda, PA. on July 28,1931 the daughter of the late Robert and Nancy Addy Parsons Sr.
Elsie was employed as a presser at many dress factories in the area, including the Stevensville Dress Factory, Mindy Sue Dress Factory in Laceyville, PA. and the Meshoppen Dress Factory.
In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, embroidery, knitting with her family and friends, and tending and growing many types of flowers, and spent countless hours, watching and tending to her tropical fish. Elsie along with her mother owned and operated a ceramic shop.
Elsie is survived by her brother and his wife Wayne and Patricia Parsons, and her sister in law, Theresa Parsons, all of Wilmot, PA. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William Baker; Thomas Parsons; and Robert Parsons Jr.
With abiding with Elsie's wishes there will be no calling hours, or funeral services. Private memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family. Interment will be in the Wysox Cemetery.
