Emily Stine Marbaker, age 93, of Laceyville, PA passed away Thursday morning, November 15, 2018 at her home.

Emily was born on August 30, 1925 in Silvara, PA the daughter of the late John W. (d. October 15, 1952) and Frances Crishock Stine (d. October 24, 1949).  She was a graduate of Laceyville High School with the class of 1943.

She was employed with the Dress Factory in Black Walnut, PA and Lehto Lawn in Rummerfield, PA.  Emily was also a housewife and homemaker for her husband Albert, who she married on January 14, 1950.  She enjoyed being a member of the Ugly Quilt Club with the Spring Hill United Methodist Women.  The club made many sleeping bags and blankets for the homeless and those in need.

Emily is survived by her husband of 68 years, Albert "Pinky" B. Marbaker.  She is also survived by her special friends Randy and Margaret Gates of Sayre, PA and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Charlotte Barnes Wisnosky (d. November 8, 1998) and Rita Clapper (d. November 28, 2016).

A memorial service for Emily will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, Laceyville, PA with Lay Minister Vickie Ellis of the Beaver Meadows Church, Inc. officiating.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 1:00 until the time of the service.  Interment will take place at a later date at the Beaver Meadows Cemetery.
