Born on July 21, 1942, in Laceyville, PA, son of the late John C. and Myrtle Freeman Kishbaugh, Eugene lived a life marked by his commitment to both his family and his work.
Eugene earned his diploma from Wyalusing High School, graduating with the Class of 1963. Following his education, he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his military tenure, he worked as a truck driver for Whipple’s Lumber Yard, Benscoter’s Trucking, and Red Freight Transportation. Eugene also drove a school bus for the Tunkhannock School District and a van for the Wyalusing School District.

Eugene found joy in being the Laceyville Boy Scout Troop’s Scoutmaster. He loved hunting, fishing, and taking two-mile walks, and playing board games and cards with family.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 510 in Black Walnut Village. He was also a member of the Skinner’s Eddy Methodist Church.
Eugene is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Emma Jane Rodgers Kishbaugh, his son, Wayne (Donna) of Henderson, NV, and Nancy Manahan (Timothy) of Laceyville, PA.
