Obit for Evelyn L. Brotzman Repsher Boyer (85)

Evelyn L. Brotzman Repsher Boyer, age 85, of 212 Second St., Laceyville, PA passed away on Saturday morning, December 22, 2012 at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock, PA.
Evelyn was born April 2, 1927 the daughter of the late Jacob D. and Mable Pierson Brotzman in Transue, PA. She was the wife of Frank J. Repsher to whom she was married to for 25 years until his sudden passing on May 10, 1967 and her second husband to whom she was married to for 33 years, Charles R. Boyer, who passed away April 22, 2010.
Evelyn worked as a calibrator for Bendix Corporation in South Montrose, PA for 21 years. She and her husband, Charlie, owned and operated a business in Meshoppen, PA for 15 years, and she worked for Ames in Tunkhannock, PA for 10 years before retiring in 2002.
She was a member of the Skinners Eddy United Methodist Church and the UMW of the church. In addition, she was a member of the Rought Hall Post # 510 American Legion Auxiliary in Black Walnut, PA. She was also a member of the Transue Friendship Club.
Evelyn is survived by her children Barbara Culver of Black Walnut, PA, Carol Furman and her husband Jim of Terrytown, PA, and Roger Repsher of Laceyville, PA, 17 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren, her sister Lorraine Repsher of Laceyville, PA, many nieces and nephews, and her special "adopted" daughter Jeannie DeReamer of Laceyville, PA. Besides her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by her son David Gary Repsher, granddaughter Michele Davis, grandsons Clarke David Davis and Michael Davis, and son in law David Culver.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Skinners Eddy United Methodist Church, Rt. 6 Laceyville, PA with Rev. Dolly Tarreto of the Skinners Eddy United Methodist Church and Rev. Thomas Davis of the Braintrim Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Lacey St. Cemetery in Laceyville. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
Arrangements were made through Sheldon Funeral Homes, Main St., Laceyville, PA.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to make memorial donations may do so in Evelyn's name to the Skinners Eddy United Methodist Church, 133 Doolittle Hill Rd, Laceyville, PA 18623 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
