Felix T. Dziuba, age 82, of (Edinger Hill) Laceyville, PA went to be with his Lord on Thursday evening, October 1, 2015 at the Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Felix was born on the Dziuba Farm on Edinger Hill in Laceyville on December 1, 1932, the son of the late Peter and Kathryn Rebisz Dziuba. He was the husband of the late Jane Gevert who passed away on December 20, 1989. He was a graduate of Laceyville High School with the Class of 1950. After his graduation from high school, Felix, stayed on Edinger Hill and continued to work on the large, successful, Dziuba Family Dairy Farm as a second generation dairy farmer. Later in his life, Felix served as a Tuscarora Township Supervisor for over 30 years.

Felix was a member of the St. Joachim's Roman Catholic Church as well as Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, and it's Holy Name Society. Felix was a man of many interests. He was an avid reader and loved to read about local history and people. He was also interested in horticulture. Felix loved to travel especially on cruises with his family. He was a gambling man that enjoyed the area casino's. Most of all Felix loved being surrounded by his loving family and friends, in particular Lorraine Pensworth Brewer, his long-time companion of 25 years.

Felix is survived by his companion Lorraine Pensworth Brewer of Laceyville, PA; step-son Wade Brewer of Laceyville; step-daughter Denise Livermore and her husband Ron of Meshoppen, PA; brother Benjamin Dziuba and his wife Lou Ann of Tunkhannock; sister Frances Krol and her husband Leonard of East Amherst, NY; sister Barbara Mislevy of Tunkhannock, PA; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents and wife Felix is preceded in death by his brothers Frank Dziuba (1981), Andrew Dziuba (1987), Paul Dziuba (1998), John Dziuba (2009), sisters Mary Learn (1998), and Sofia Hill (2008).

The family request that his family and friends gather for a Mass of Christian Burial at the St. Joachim's Roman Catholic Church in Meshoppen, PA on Monday morning, October 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Father Pio Mandato of the St. Joseph's Hermitage of Laceyville, PA officiating. Interment will follow at the Spring Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Sheldon Funeral Homes, 459 Main Street, Laceyville, PA on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 3:00-7:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.
