Gary "Ben" Benjamin Brown, 52, of Laceyville, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA

Born on December 10, 1973, in Towanda, PA, he was the son of Connie Baldwin Brown and late Gary W. Brown.

Ben worked as a truck driver for Dave Brown Hauling. Ever since he was a little boy, he dreamed of driving a tractor-trailer, and he was proud to have made that childhood dream a reality.

In his free time, Ben enjoyed hunting, riding four-wheelers, watching football, and taking vacations, especially trips to the beach. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and always enjoyed cheering on his favorite team. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially Sunday dinners.

He is survived by his children, Tracey Brown and his wife, Rachel of East Berlin, PA, Karissa Carpenter and her husband, Kayden of Laceyville, PA, and Dalton Brown, of Laceyville, PA; his mother, Connie Baldwin Brown; his partner, Jennifer Norton of Laceyville, PA; his sibling, Jordan Brown; his aunts and uncles, Devin and Cheryl Kiesling, Bud and Nancy Baldwin, Lynn Roth, Karen and Mike Ciprich, Terry Brown, and Pattie Johnson along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ben was preceded in death by his father, Gary W. Brown, who passed away on June 29, 2023, and his brother, Tracy Brown, who passed away on April 2, 1988.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the Sheldon Funeral Home, 459 Main St., Laceyville, PA. Interment will take place at a later date at the North Flat Cemetery.
