Gary Allen Hartshaw, passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday morning, December 2, 2021, at his home in Tuscarora twp., Bradford Co. Gary was born on September 7, 1960, in Norristown, PA, the son of the late Betty Jean Barto Bates (1999) and late Robert LeRoy Hartshaw Sr. (1982).

Gary attended high school at Wyalusing Valley. He was employed as a truck driver for various trucking companies for many years, where he loved to travel and see new parts of the country. Gary was also employed at QPI at the Procter and Gamble Warehouse, and at John Pary's Farm in Laceyville, PA, for many years.

In his spare time Gary was always working and tinkering on something, and enjoyed laughing and just being surrounded by his large family. His best times were spent with his constant companion, his dog Bandit.

Gary is survived by his daughters April (Josh Dibble) Hartshaw of Meshoppen, PA, Megan Hartshaw of Meshoppen, PA, and Carissa and Thomas Harvey of Meshoppen, PA, his son Chad and Amanda Hartshaw of Tunkhannock, PA, his grandchildren Cheyenne Jenner & Carter Capwell of Meshoppen, PA; Christian Harvey of Laceyville, PA; Ashton Blight and Isaac Harvey of Meshoppen, PA; Conner Hartshaw, Abigail Hartshaw and Hunter Hartshaw all of Tunkhannock, PA; and Everett Bennett of Meshoppen, PA. His sisters Kathy Blemle of Camptown, PA; Wanda Winters of Lakeland, FL; Donna Higley (Jeff Jayne) of Laceyville, PA; Paula and Frank Kent of Quakertown, PA; Debbie Learn, of Dickson City, PA,  and Penny Sullivan, of Stevensville, PA; and his brother Robert and Wendy Hartshaw of North Augusta, SC and many nieces and nephews, aunts uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Hartshaw and Betty Bates, son Zachary Hartshaw, grandparents Elva Whitmiller Barto & Arthur Barto, sister Barbara Hartshaw, brother-in-laws Sidney Blemle and Mitchell Winters.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM, at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Laceyville, PA. Interment will follow in the Camptown Cemetery officiating will be Gary's niece Tawnya Blemle.
