George Joseph Adamietz Sr., 53, passed away unexpectedly at his Wyalusing home on the morning of Friday August 7, 2015, due to natural causes.

He was born on May 8, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late George Cyril and Rita Adamietz, II.

A man who led by example, George excelled at his time at North Catholic High School and went on to secure a career in plumbing and electrical work that would follow through to retirement. His dedication and support to his family and friends was unmatched and his playful spirit lives on in those whose lives he has touched.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Adamietz, former spouse, Peggy Frapp, devoted children: Shawn Frapp, George Adamietz Jr., Steven Adamietz, John Adamietz, Andrew Adamietz, Ciera Ordonez-Sisco, Danielle Sisco, Logan Sisco, Connor Sisco, Cassidy Sisco, his beautiful grandchildren: Elaina Ordonez-Sisco, Nathaniel Sisco, Kayleigh Ordonez-Sisco, Lily Ordonez-Sisco, Emmett Sisco, and Gideon Sisco, and his caring siblings: Maria "Teeter" Jenkins, Madeleine Walsh, Kevin Adamietz, Lisa Sofia, and Diana Dunigan.

There will be a public memorial service at the Adamietz residence at 165 Second Street, Wyalusing, PA on Friday, August 14th at 2:00 PM for anyone who would like to pay their respects and offer support to the family. The service will begin at 2:00 PM and the house will remain open to visitors throughout the afternoon and evening. Business casual / casual dress is requested by the deceased.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial contributions be made to the T.A.C.O. Food Pantry, 13 State Street, Wysox, PA 18854, an establishment that has supported the family through trying times and continues to support other families in the area.
