Grace Louise Puterbaugh, age 91 of 134 Rabbit Hollow Rd., Meshoppen, PA, passed away early Monday morning, August 30, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, in Wilkes Barre, PA.

Grace was born in Tunkhannock, PA on October 19, 1929, the daughter of the late Herbert and Hazel Bronson Robinson. She lived in Meshoppen most of her life, graduating from the Mehoopany High School with the class of 1947.

She will be greatly missed by her children, and her grandchildren. Grace loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For the last few years, her greatest companion was her dog, Sassy, who she considered one of her family members. She was married to the late Lester Charles Puterbaugh Sr., for 63 years, until his passing, on February 1, 2013.

She is survived by a son, Lester Charles Puterbaugh and longtime companion Ellen Durling, of Meshoppen, PA; a son Terry E. Puterbaugh and long-time companion Luella Gates, of Meshoppen, PA; her daughter Kimberly Truscott and her husband Steven, of Factoryville, PA; and her son James Reed of Nicholson, PA, as well as several grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Donald Earl Puterbaugh on June 12, 2016.

Private family services will be held at their convenience, at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Meshoppen, PA with Rev. Gary Myers of the Meshoppen Biblical Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery, in Tunkhannock, PA.
