Harold E. Canfield, age 90, of Laceyville, PA, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at his home in Laceyville, PA.

Harold was born in Towanda, PA on December 27, 1928, the son of the late Olin Canfield Sr. and Lulu Hoover Canfield. Harold proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany as a Military Policeman after World War II. In April of 1951, Harold married his high-school sweetheart, the former Shirley Barrowcliff. Harold was an outdoorsman who loved to be outside in nature. He loved to hunt and fish. He would take fishing trips to Black Lake, NY as well as trips to Canada. But what Harold loved most of all was his family. He loved spending quality time with all the members of his family

Harold is survived by his wife of 67 years, Shirley A. Canfield of Laceyville, PA; his children Diane Betsko and her husband Bob of Sun Lake, AZ; Russell Canfield and his wife Marilyn of Laceyville, PA; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving is Harold's sister Doris Williams of Sun Lake, AZ. Besides his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his brother Olin Canfield Jr.

By abiding to Harold's wishes, there will be no services held at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
