Harry E. Morgan, age 62, of Pantherlick Road in Sugar Run, PA passed away at his home in Wilmot Township, Bradford County late Wednesday evening, March 11, 2015 surrounded by his family.
Harry was born on June 2, 1952 in Woodhull, NY the son of Ivan and Charlotte Parson Morgan. He married the former Nancy Adams on February 2, 1991. Harry was a dairy farmer at Tillinghast Farms in Gillett, PA for over 40 years. Harry was a former US Marine and served his country in the Vietnam War, from 1972 until 1976. In his spare time Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR. His favorite driver was Jimmie Johnson. Harry enjoyed taking road trips with his son up and down the east coast but he enjoyed spending time with his family the most.
Surviving is his wife of 24 years, Nancy Morgan of Sugar Run, PA; his son Michael Adams and his wife Emma of Sugar Run, PA; his grandchildren, Miranda Bates of Silvara, PA; Michael Adams II of Kentucky; Mika Bates of Sugar Run, PA; Joshua Adams of Sugar Run, PA; Tristan Bates of Sugar Run, PA; and Danielle Adams of Florida. Also surviving are his brothers Lester Morgan of Osceola, PA; Keith Morgan of Elkland, PA; Chuck Morgan of Woodhull, NY; sisters Judy Burton of Knoxville, PA; Linda Heidrick of Elkland, PA; Carol Jordon of Troupsburg, NY; Ruth Hulbert of South Carolina; Sandy Morgan of Woodhull, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Harry is preceded in death by his nephew Adam Jordon who passed away in 2001 and brother-in-law John Heidrick who passed away in 2000.
Funeral services for Harry will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoon, March 15, 2015 at the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church Street, Wyalusing, PA with Rev. David Dewing of the Camptown United Methodist Church officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Military services will follow the service performed by the members of the Wyalusing American Legion Post #534. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at a later date
