Helen C. Clark, age 88, of Farr Road, Meshoppen, PA passed away on Tuesday afternoon, February 17, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock, PA.

Helen was born in Scranton, PA on October 3, 1926 the daughter of the late Charles Kveragas and Josephine Shimkus. She married her husband Edward S. Clark on December 19, 1959.

Helen worked at the Meshoppen and Tunkhannock Dress Factories. She was a bartender for Charlie's Bar and later at Celine's Bar in Meshoppen, PA. She was member of the St. Joachim's Roman Catholic Church in Meshoppen, PA.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Edward S. Clark of Meshoppen, PA and brother Alex Kveragas of Friendsville, PA. Helen is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph Kveragas; Charles Kveragas; Anthony Kveragas; John Kveragas; Stanley Kveragas; Peter Kveragas; sisters Ann Maninski and Millie Saravitz.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February21, 2015 at 9:00 AM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Meshoppen, PA. with A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim's Roman Catholic Church in Meshoppen, PA with Father Joseph Manarchuck of the church officiating. Interment will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Tunkhannock, PA. Family and friends may call at the Sheldon Funeral Home, SR 6, Meshoppen, PA on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 5:00 -8:00 PM.
