Helen L. Learn Reynolds, age 87, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 10, 2018 at the Wyalusing Personal Care Home where she has been living since September 2017. Helen was formally of Laceyville and Tunkhannock.

Helen was born on July 23, 1930 in Stevensville, PA the daughter of the late Claude and Julia Cannan Brown.  She was a graduate of the Camptown High School with the class of 1947.

She was employed with Tyler Memorial Hospital.  She was a member of the Osterhout Bible Church and taught Sunday School.  She was a former member of the Braintrim Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and assisted with the Awana Club.  Helen was a member of the Edinger Hill Ladies Aide Society.  She also enjoyed volunteering at the Tyler Memorial Hospital and CEF in Tunkhannock.

Helen is survived by her children, Randy Learn of Edgewater, NJ, David Learn and his wife Sallie of Colorado Springs, CO, Mark Learn and his wife Brenda of Hanford, CA, and Daniel Learn and his wife Holiday of Sugar Run, PA; her grandchildren, Brian Learn, Alicia Johnson, Amy Learn, Axel Learn, and Jolene Davis; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Frances Potter of LeRaysville, PA, Doris Howatt of Kentucky, and Irma Krohn of Manalpan, NJ; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James B. Learn (d. May 9, 1995), her second husband John W. Reynolds (d. July 14, 2013), her daughters Frances M. Learn Sawicki (d. May 4, 1985) and Jennifer Dawn Learn (d. April 30, 1990), as well as numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Helen will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 459 Main St., Laceyville,PA with Reverend Brian Williams of the Osterhout Bible Church officiating.  Interment will follow at the Lacey Street Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the Sheldon Funeral Home on Friday evening, July 13, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Helen's name to the Osterhout Bible Church, 467 Lane Hill Road, Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
