Herbert E. Cornelius, age 84, of Meshoppen, PA, passed away at his home in Auburn twp., Susquehanna Co., early Wednesday morning, December 8, 2021.

Herbert was born in Lodi, NJ, on January 16, 1937, the son of the late Fredrick B. and Pearl Deronde Cornelius. Herbert was the husband of the late Margaret E. Chapman Cornelius, who passed away on March 24, 2019. Herbert and Margaret were married on June 7, 1958.

Herbert is survived by his children, Deborah (Steve) Mokris, of Meshoppen, PA; Steven Cornelius of Meshoppen, PA; Marge (Dave) Yurkanin of Jessup, PA,; and Barry Cornelius of Meshoppen, PA, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides is wife and his parents he was preceded in death by three sons, David Cornelius and Kenneth Conelius who both passed away on July 19, 1992, and Herbert Cornelius who passed away on January 27, 2021.

Private graveside services will be held at the Jersey Hill Cemetery in Auburn, PA, at the convenience of the family.
