Obituary

Ian Connor Kenyon, age 19, of New Albany, PA passed away on Friday morning, March 21, 2025 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Born in Wellsboro, PA on August 22, 2005, he was the beloved son of Teresa Casile and the late William Kenyon. In his early years, Ian lived in the Bucks County area, where he was an active member of the community. He enjoyed his time as a Cub Scout, played baseball, and loved spending time with the many neighborhood children. Ian was also an active member of the Family of God Lutheran Church, where he participated in the choir, played the violin, and attended both Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. One of his fondest memories was his weeks spent at summer camp at Bear Creek. Ian also looked forward to family vacations, especially boating on the Chesapeake Bay with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He became quite the pro at eating steamed crabs!

After moving to New Albany, Ian continued to live life to the fullest. He attended Wyalusing High School, where he embraced the many outdoor activities, the area had to offer, especially camping, hunting, and fishing. Ian also loved spending time with his Moo (grandmom) at Knoebels, swimming at World's End State Park, and riding his four-wheeler and the Gator. Ian's love for the outdoors was matched by his creative spirit. He was an avid gamer who loved listening to music and spending time with his mom working on various creative projects. They also enjoyed feeding the neighbors cows together daily. Ian was enthusiastic about cooking. He liked experimenting in the kitchen and sharing his dishes with those he loved. He had a passion for LEGOs, often displaying his intricate creations for all to admire. This hobby was one that he shared with his girlfriend, Madison Fox, with whom he spent over three wonderful years building memories together.

To those who were closest to him, Ian was known for his big heart and his great sense of humor. He would go above and beyond to help his family and was always ready to brighten their day with a kind gesture or a much-needed laugh. Ian's spirit, his kindness, and his infectious laughter will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ian is survived by his loving mother, Teresa Casile, his girlfriend, Madison Fox, his grandparents, Elsie Ashton (John Huber) of New Albany, PA and Dennis Casile (Susan Lyle) of Doylestown, PA; his aunts, Christina Casile of Abington, PA, Kimberly Cronin (Jerry) and their children, Grady and Gianna of Perkasie, PA, Heather Lyle of Doylestown, PA and her son, Ryan Leek, Jennifer Lyle (Lizza Robb) of Ardmore, PA, Bobbi Jo Cain, Joy Kenyon, and Carol Page-Bissinger.  He is also survived by his step-siblings, Aryan and Cheyenne Kenyon and a host of extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
