Jacqueline A. Castle, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, surrounded by her family at the Guthrie Skilled Nursing Facility in Towanda, PA.

Born on August 8, 1942, in Sayre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Nora Hatch Marshall, and beloved grandparents Nelson and Rhoda Hatch, both deceased.

She grew up in Wilmot and attended Wyalusing Valley High School. Jackie (as she was known) worked as a waitress and enjoyed conversing with people. She had a quick wit and spunky spirit. In her spare time, she enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events.

She had been residing at the Towanda Personal Care Home since September 2023, where she greatly enjoyed the other residents and participating in the many activities there.

She is survived by her daughter, Michele (Chip) Welles, Wyalusing, PA: her sons, Jeffrey Bennett, New Milford, PA, Christopher Bennett, Lawton, PA, Timothy (Debbie), Monroeton, PA and Michael (Sara) Bennett, Scottsdale, AZ.  Jackie is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Jackie will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Era Cemetery.
