Obituary

James Duffy, 75, of Wyalusing, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Born on November 1, 1950, and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, James built a life defined by deep devotion to God, quiet strength, and an unwavering love for his family and his Lord, Jesus Christ.

At the center of James’s world was his beloved wife of 57 years, Debbie. His devotion to her was total and tireless — she was his greatest joy, his constant companion, and the heart of everything he held dear. Those who knew him understood that where Debbie was, James was not far behind.

James had a passion for Chevrolet automobiles. In his earlier years, he took to the ice as a hockey player, enjoying the time he had playing hockey with his son. In later years, he loved riding his lawn mower.

He was employed as a Repair Technician for Sears for 37 years. Throughout his career he serviced many customers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

James was the beloved son of the late Robert and Mary Duffy. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; his son, James Jr. (Hope); his daughter, Tracy Ehleben (Mark); and his son-in-law Jerry Buck (Jackie). He is also survived by five siblings: Jack (Jean), Mary O’Donnell, Nancy Kivlin (Tom), Pat (Kathy), and Mike (Donna); as well as 12 cherished grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren who brought him immeasurable happiness.

James was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Buck; his brother, Bob; and his grandson, Brandon. Their memory remained close to his heart always.

James Duffy lived a life of love, loyalty, and faithfulness. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
