James Edward Parkhurst, age 55, of Towanda, PA passed away at his home Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

James was born on April 21, 1967 in Sayre, PA the son of the late Hugh Leroy Parkhurst, Sr. and the late Agnes Ann Owen-Parkhurst.  He was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School with the class of 1985.  After high school he served his country in the US Army.

He was employed at the Ram Zone as a Cook, the Bradford County Humane Society, and as a Carpenter with S & A Construction.  James enjoyed gaming, hunting, fishing, and taking care of animals.

James is survived by his daughter, Faith Ann Parkhurst, of Towanda, PA; his son, Kyle Owen; his siblings, Hugh Leroy Parkhurst, Jr. (Michelle) of Tunkhannock, PA, Walter Vincent Parkhurst of Troy, PA, Herbert Joseph Parkhurst of Florida, Audrey Fran Lincoln (Frank) of Tunkhannock, PA, Sandy B. Parkhurst of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Sheryl Ann Keir of Laceyville, PA; his brother-in-law, Roger Jayne of Laceyville, PA; his special cousin, Angela Force of Tunkhannock, PA; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Lynn Carlin and siblings, Betsy Lee Jayne and Shawn Christopher Parkhurst.

There will be no services at this time.
