Jane Ann Bendock, age 69, of Laceyville, PA passed away on Tuesday evening, January 28, 2025 at the Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Jane was born on August 19, 1955 in Pittston, PA the daughter of the late Charles Edward McGrath (d. January, 2009) and Audrey Helen Campbell McGrath (d. September, 2016).

She was employed for over 20 years as the cook at the Ranch Wagon in Dallas, PA.  More recently she was a cook at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.  Jane was a social member of the Rought Hall American Legion Post #510.  She was a people person and always had many friends around her.  She was known for her green thumb.  Her garden and landscaping were terrific and she was able to grow a banana tree and pineapple in her house.  She enjoyed playing BINGO, baking, camping, shooting pool and throwing darts.  She took great pleasure in visiting with her sister, Sharon, multiple times per week.  Jane had a knack for winning raffle baskets, every benefit that she was at she always walked home with a win.  Most of all she loved her pets and spending time with her family.

Jane is survived by her husband whom she married on April 20, 2019, Edward Thomas Bendock, Jr.; her children, Lori Barrington of Forkston, PA, Lisa Felker of Tunkhannock, PA, Cheryl Charney (Jay), of West Wyoming, PA, and William David Felker (Heather) of Swoyersville, PA; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; her siblings, Linda Hobbs of Pittston, PA, Sharon Leyshon (Edward) of Pittston, PA, Charles McGrath, Jr. of Pittston, PA, and Scott McGrath of West Wyoming, PA; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Edward Felker and her granddaughter, Heather Lynn Garmize.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 7:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church St., Wyalusing, PA with Lay Minister Vickie Ellis of the Beaver Meadows Church officiating.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home in Wyalusing on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 5:00 until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Jane's name to the Meshoppen Cat Rescue, 9883 SR 6, Meshoppen, PA 18630.
